Does Kroongeheim offer a classic solex tour near Apeldoorn?
No, we don't offer vintage Solex mopeds. Instead, with us, you'll ride modern, electric E-choppers that cruise silently and cleanly through the Kroondomein.
Can I rent an E-chopper separately from Kroongeheim?
No, at Kroongeheim , the E-chopper is only available as part of a package that includes other activities or dining options. Would you like to rent just an E-chopper on its own? If so, we’d be happy to refer you to De Veluwe Specialist, located just 10 minutes away from Kroongeheim.
What are the requirements for riding an E-chopper?
Drivers must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid moped or driver's license. Wearing a helmet is mandatory; Kroongeheim provides these helmets.
Can children ride on the E-chopper?
Children ages 4 to 12 may ride as a passenger under certain conditions, provided their combined weight does not exceed 120 kilograms. Two adults are not allowed to ride together on a single E-chopper.
What dining options are available after the E-chopper Tour?
After your tour, you’re welcome to join us for drinks, bitterballen, and refreshing beverages. For groups of 25 or more, we can arrange a barbecue or buffet upon request, and the Buitenplaats 't Loo restaurant is within walking distance.
